Service Profile Identifier

Service Profile Identifier
   Abbreviated SPID. An 8- to 14-character identifier associated with an ISDN connection that defines the services available on that connection.
   The SPID is actually stored at the telephone company central office and is accessed by and used to identify your ISDN service. Don't lose it; your ISDN system will not run without it.
